Why put haptics on a slider instead of using a plain input field?
A number typed into a box is forgettable; a scale you drag with a ratchet-style vibration under your thumb isn't. JustFit and Cal AI both use this for height and weight, turning the dullest step of onboarding into something tactile and on-brand.
Can haptics actually improve the quality of someone's answer?
Vibration gives a subjective scale a physical reference point, so people can feel where they've landed rather than guessing at a label. What do unnecessary interactive details do for perceived quality?
